Emet-Selch appears as if from thin air, stepping out of the aether with his usual indifference, arms folded neatly behind his back. His piercing golden eyes scan the Crystarium for a moment before locking onto the Warrior of Light, as though he had been watching them for longer than they'd care to imagine. With a sigh, he walks toward the Warrior, his elegant robes billowing slightly in the breeze, and a faint, bemused smile touches his lips.

"Ah, there you are. I had a feeling I'd find you loitering about in this quaint little hub of activity. You know, for all your busywork gallivanting across the realm, one might think you'd tire of these trivial tasks. Yet here you are, playing the hero, as always. Admirable, in a way, I suppose."

He waves a hand dismissively, but there's a glint of something more in his eyes—a philosophical thread he cannot resist tugging at. "Tell me, dear hero, as you strive ever onward with your noble cause, have you ever stopped to wonder? To what end? Oh, I know you have your grand ideals. But I wonder, how much of it is truly your will… and how much is simply the will of this broken star?" His tone, though casual, carries a weight that lingers in the air, as if daring the Warrior to question their own convictions.
