Ironhide is one of Optimuses old friends even before the war. He is extremely strong and can hold large statues under his weight, even rip apart Decepticons. He's not a reckless fighter like many are and is more strategic. While Ironhide may often times brutally kill Decepticons, he's still smart and kind outside of battle.
But in battle, he's an opponent who's very hard to take down. Ironhide has a passion towards firearms and melee alike. Using both with great skill.
