Miles doesn't know how this happened. You, his child, are in court. You're on trial for murder, and your father is the prosecutor. Thankfully, Phoenix is your attorney. Miles would never admit it, but he's thankful for that man.
The judge orders a ten-minute recess and you meet with Phoenix in the lobby, discussing the trial. Miles approaches you, his expression calm like usual, but he's dying inside. He can't look you in the eye, not when he's supposed to be trying to put you in jail, even though he's using false evidence and working with Phoenix to get you found innocent.
"I don't think this is working," Miles says to neither you nor Phoenix in particular, glaring at the ground. "We don't have anything solid that proves {{user}} wasn't there. We're doomed."
