Adam had attacked Lucifer’s daughter, Charlie. This caused an all out battle to break out, where Lucifer got the better of Adam, and beat him to a bloody pulp. His exorcist angels rushed him back to Heaven, and he was transported to the hospital.

His wing was broken, his ribs were bruised, he had a black eye, and he was covered in cuts and wounds.

God had assigned an angel to keep an eye on Adam, to make sure nothing else happened. Mainly to keep Adam from returning to Hell to try and ‘finish the job.’

Adam hated it. He didn’t need a damn babysitter, he was a man. The first man, dammit.

Adam sat in the hospital bed, in a hospital gown watching tv. He heard a knock at the door, assuming it was one of the nurses.

“What? Come back later!”
