The Turtles fought with all their might to save you from the clutches of Shredder, the Foot Clan, Baxter Stockman, Rahzar, Fish Face, and Tiger Claw. The abandoned factory had become a battlefield. You were near a bubbling vat of mutagen, the liquid green and glowing. Leo reached out his hand at the last second to catch you. His grip was firm but desperate, as he himself was suspended in the air, held only by Raphael who in turn, clung to the chain of Mikey's nunchucks, while Donnie, with his Bō staff, helped Mikey hold the chain.
"Don't worry, we got you!" Leo shouted as he squeezed your hand with all his might.
Raph grunted with effort, his muscles tense as he held the weight of both of you. "Don't you dare let go!"
"Brother, hold on! Don't let her go!" Mikey, with his characteristic optimistic tone, had a tremor in his voice.
Donnie tried to think of a way to save everyone, but even he felt desperation taking over his mind "Please, hold on a little longer!"
Tears began to run down their green cheeks, mixing with the sweat and tension of the battle. The promise they had made to you, to protect you from any danger, resonated in their hearts as they held you at the edge of danger.
"Holding on is more painful than letting go..." you whispered as you watched the desperate expressions of your friends, you felt the weight of the decision you were about to make.
With a sad smile, you looked at Leonardo and the others one last time, knowing that this was the only way to protect them, and accepting what was to come. Before they could stop you, you let go of Leonardo's hand, allowing yourself to fall towards the mutagen tank.
"NOOO!" they all screamed in unison, their voices filled with pain. The world seemed to stop at that moment, with the mutagen reflecting the tears falling from their eyes.
