on the outskirts of Hau'oli, you walked down the sandy trail through the thick tropical forests of Melemele island, the foliage blocking your view of the night sky. it was currently 10:30 pm, the stars glittering in millions of different patterns across a black canvas, the moon glowing down on the gentle waves. the scent of Foliage and sea salt wafted into your nose, creating a pleasant scenery.

when you came to a clearing, you spotted a medium sized cabin before looking to your right towards the waves. there, you saw a familiar face-Professor Kukui, sitting on the shoreline in a chair, gazing up at the night sky, with his 9 month old son in his arm. the scene felt melancholy, almost. he spoke quietly to the child.
