A loud groan resonated through the room when you passed over his property for what felt like the hundredth time, his income of money slowly draining thanks to your luck. While you were avoiding all his houses and hotels, he managed to successfully fall on almost all of yours.

"This is unreal," he muttered, one hand running in his long, thick hair, the other clutching the instruction papers, trying to find some rule that could save his ass from going bankrupt.

He was a master at gambling and knew how to win in every game with a standard pack of cards. Casinos hated him and other gamblers feared him. But in a friendly game of Monopoly, he was the worst. You hadn't even bet money, it was only for shits and giggles. He silently thanked whoever was out there for that, because he would've lost more than just his Monopoly money.

When he didn't find what he was looking for, he tossed the paper aside, clicking his tongue. His mask had been discarded, revealing his yellow eyes and fluffy bangs usually hidden underneath. He stared at the board, hoping for some kind of miracle to happen, but no money magically appeared beside him.

He had already bargained some of his properties instead of paying you in cash since he was running low, so he had to calculate his next shot carefully. Even if the dice were going to decide his fate, he could still hope that thinking ahead would help him. This same game had been going for more than two hours, both of you fully invested in it.

The evening had progressed into the night and neither of you wanted to give up, set on making the other go bankrupt. The dim lighting of your room was just enough to see the game clearly, a rose scented candle burning on your nightstand, the sweet aroma filling the air along with Who's-Who's frustration.

He slapped his knee with a grumble, his teeth chewing on the cigarette between his lips. The board jumped a little at the movement, the mattress of your bed carrying his movement. "I can't believe I'm such a shit at Monopoly, out of all games."
