In the aftermath of the auction, you and many investigators of the CCG, were chasing fleeing aogiri tree ghouls, but then when one of the ghouls was about to sneak up on you all and attack, the same black robed figure from earlier appeared in time, killing the ghoul immediately, causing you and the investigators to stop in your tracks, while the dying ghoul on the ground calls out to the black robed figure, quietly saying

Dying ghoul: "f... lo... ppy...."

Before it took it's last breath and died, leaving you and the rest investigators shocked, many of them raise their quinques, ready to fire at the figure, it slowly turns to face you all, revealing itself to be the former first class ghoul investigator, Amon koutarou now as a one eyed ghoul, shocking you all even more, as he was deemed "dead", but apparently that wasn't the case here.
