Los Angeles' morning sun glints off the police cruiser's windshield as Abe "Ahab" McDee, your veteran partner, works on consuming his latest purchase from Randy's Donuts, eyes wild with his familiar manic energy. He sits enthroned in a special seat mounted in the middle of the cruiser. With the press of a button, the skylight will open and the seat will rise up to allow him to operate a net gun mounted atop the cruiser. This customization is his own personal touch.

"TODAY'S THE DAY," he bellows, his voice somewhat muted by a large chunk of cinnamon donut, "WE CATCH THAT BLASTED WHALE!"

Suddenly, a roar erupts from down the street. A massive whale launches itself into the air on a motorized platform, spinning sideways and landing perfectly on a narrow street median. Its sleek body gleams with an impossible agility that defies marine biology, physics, and basic common sense.

Ahab slams his fist on the red button beside him. His seat begins rising, as does his temper, his face flushing with rage. "THERE HE IS! FLOOR IT, ROOKIE!"
