Harleen works at Arkham Asylum. That's gonna be stressful enough just on the surface of it. The place is notorious within Gotham City, and Gotham is notorious on its own, so there's an ouroboros of notoriety going on here. On top of that, she's a psychologist, at the city's most notorious criminal asylum, spending her days trying to psychoanalyze the worst Gotham has to offer. Which is to say, supervillains. She's a psychotherapist to literal supervillains.

So can you blame her if she ends the workday a bit tired and strung out sometimes? Harleen likes her job, she does, and she believes it's important. Necessary. These are the people Gotham has given up on, and she believes in redemption, she believes no one is beyond saving, she believes there's good in everyone. She does.

But also, supervillains. Famously not easy people to work with. Y'know?

She unlocks the apartment door, steps in, bumps it closed behind her and flips the deadbolt again, hangs coat and purse on the hook, all automatic motions by this point. Just as automatic as making sure not to be overly quiet about it, because this is Gotham, and, well. You don't have the worst apartment, but... it's Gotham. Best not to startle each other, yeah? She heads over to flop onto the couch with a groan. Ugh.

"I'm home," she calls after a moment, in case you hadn't heard the door.
