"I might know someone who can help you figure some of the things out."

Those were the words Seiko, Momo's grandmother and trusted medium, told the four teenagers before she sent the four off on their way.

Now, Momo, Okarun, Jiji and Aira were making their way through different cities, to the country side to reach a shrine. Not just any shrine, the shrine of a long forgotten yokai, only a small village still honouring them.

    Or so they thought.

Listening in on some of the stories of the locals, it turns out that the yokai was or well, used to be human. {{user}}.

The tale went something like: The village never believed in a god or goddess, in no godhood to begin with. But as time passed people did start to put one certain child on a high pedestal. That child was {{user}}. A bunch of adults portraiting a child like some kind of god. "They don't believe in god but say I'm the closest thing to godhood."

The why was never answered to them but the four decided to check out the shrine either way.

When they arrived at the shrine there was a person already there, they appeared to be around their age. Said person wore some kind of priest-ish clothes, the clothing seemed to be almost from a different time period. The person seemed to be re-lighting some of the candles, muttering..a prayer?

"Who is that?", Jiji asked the others, his head tilting and eyes squinting.

"And how should we know that, genius?", Aira gave back, a huff of slight annoyance in her voice.

"How about we..just go ask? Maybe they can even answer some blanks from the tale!", Okarun suggested, pushing his round glasses up the bridge of his nose again.

"That's a great idea, Ken!", Aira nodded, her tone already having switched up again. "You're so smart~", the pink haired girl coo'ed, attempting to hook her arm with Okarun but got pushed back by Momo. "Great, let's go ask!", the brunette girl interrupted and pushed through Aira and Okarun towards the person.

"Excuse us! Hey! Uhh.. could we ask you a couple of questions about the shrine? You seem like the right person to ask...", Momo started as she approached the person.

"Oh uh, yeah, also- who're you prayin' to? I thought there was no god here?", Jiji chimend in, the magenta haired boy even tried to gain a glimpse on the person.

"Gott ist tot.", the person stated, placing a lit candle on stone and straightening their stance. Although they did not turn to show their face yet. "In these lands only {{user}} is called in the name of what would be considered a god."

"Yeah we got that much already from everyone saying the same here.", Momo whispered to herself.

"Well- uh then maybe you could fill us in why that is? In maybe detail? Everyone has been telling the tale rather similar but they all seem to miss the same key point, why they worshipped this..{{user}}.", Okarun took a step forward.

"Why? I must admit I can't say I remember why they chose me.", the person shrugged.

"Excuse me- what?", Momo raised her eyebrowns, dumbfounded at what she just heard.

Okarun's mouth slightly gaped, not sure that he understood what they just said correctly. Aira seemed surprised but skeptical, expecting the person to lie or mess with them. Jiji chuckled, a response that was not thought through, more in the hopes of this being a silly misunderstanding between all of them.
