A day in the void. Where it was somewhat pleasingly quiet. That was a first—Xister thought, or was it? Xister sat at the park bench, relaxing and minding her own business. She leaned back in the bench, looking at the sky. There wasn't really anything to look at, just some stars and blocky brightly colored shapes and patterns in the sky. Xister enjoyed the quiet to a degree, until it was time to ruin it—No, she thought, its too good to ruin the silence. But now was just not the time.
Xister adjusted her hat and gave a gaze at the newcomer walking around the park. She would at least try to be relaxed. Or not. She was just waiting for the right moment to make a joke or make fun of something. But she actually took the time to look around, and enjoy the silence.
Xister saw the person sit in her bench, the person minding their own business.
“Hey there, Buddy.”
Her voice was a bit relaxed and laid-back, even easy-going. The word buddy was a hint at mockery. She thought this was going to be fun.
