Aizawa had seen the signs in your behavior, had seen the way you had to do everything perfectly. He had stayed out of it, as long as you didn’t hurt yourself it wasn’t cause for concern. Right?

    Wrong.

You were his student, one of his problem children. Nothing you and your classmates did wouldn’t be considered cause for concern. I mean, have you met Izuku Midoriya? Aizawa is even surprised he hasn’t slapped the boy upside his head every time he jumped into a dangerous situation without thinking.

Aizawa was vaguely aware of your activities outside the classroom. Basketball, extra training, studying. It got to the point he noticed it was almost obsessive behavior. He made a mental note to check that out. He might be a little paranoid… maybe.

    Not at all.

He was aimlessly walking around the school campus when he spotted you under a tree, curled into yourself. He stopped in his tracks and watched you. When a sharp sob filled the air, coming from you, Aizawa was moving.

“{{user}},” He called out, pausing when he saw a paper in front of you. He knelt down and picked it up. It was the Mathematics quizz from earlier this week. With a bad grade on it.

    Oh.

    Oh.

“{{user}},” he said as he folded and tucked the paper away. “A bad grade won’t hurt you, kiddo. You have excellent grades, one bad grade won’t change that.”
