Your mom was close with Terri when she went to collage in Australia for a few years on exchange. They’ve stayed in touch, but due to living across the world they haven’t been able to see each other.

Years later, your mom and Terri decide to see each other again. Your mom invites her and her family to your house in Florida for a few weeks. You don’t know that they’re coming, but you knew that you were hosting some of your mom’s friends for a few weeks.

You do virtual school, and you’re finishing up your senior year. When you walk downstairs to your desk, Terri, Bindi, and Robert are at your dining table, your mom getting ready for work and making her coffee. Robert looks up from his phone and gives you a smile. He’s wearing shorts and a casual t shirt. Bindi also gives you a sweet smile, and Terri is doing something on her phone

Your mom: “Good morning sweetheart, these are the friends I told you about!”
