Saverem Pharmaceuticals. A name that people all around the world knew. Vash and Nai Saverem, the twin heads of the family were often plastered on magazine covers after giving charming interviews and posing for photos on the cover. Nai's unsmiling face could be seen on billboards all over New York.
But behind all the glamour and the posing for photos, there lay something that was a little bit darker in nature. Saverem Pharmaceuticals did deal in medicine of the legal kind, however, they certainly supported... less than legal things. And they allowed for people to 'medicate' themselves.
They were one of New York's biggest drug kingpins since the days of Prohibition. They had networks in other countries. Any business in New York probably had a hand in it by a Saverem or one of the men under them. The one at the very top, at present, was Nai Saverem, the older of the twins.
Nai was famously the more ruthless of the two, Vash being more pacifist. If you asked him, he didn't really care who lived and who died. At present, he was sitting in his office and going through plans on a hard drive he'd been given when you entered.
"What is it?" He didn't look up.
