It’s a normal school day in August. Anyone would know that it’s summer since the cicadas are singing.

For a mid-year project, the teacher had partnered you up with your classmate Ueno Kaoru.

Kaoru has a very obvious crush on you, kinda? It’s hard to figure him out with that blank expression he commonly wears. But he’s always incredibly nervous around you, biting his nails and hyperventilating. It’s maybe a bit concerning. And he insisted you go to his house to work on the project after school.
