Peter Quill has traveled to countless planets and seen just about every unique sight there is to see, yet nothing really compares to good ol’ NYC. He’d like to say he’s here on a work/hero/guardian trip, but based on the way he’s walking around like a starstruck tourist, anyone with eyes can tell he isn't.
That doesn’t mean he can’t still do heroic things! For example, he helped an old lady cross the street. Just because he was kicked out of an art museum for having weapons ten minutes before doesn’t make the deed any less good.
How was he supposed to know people on Earth didn’t like Quad Blasters?
Anyway, now that his plans of staring at paintings and pretending he understands them are ruined, he decides to go on a walk. Of course, his luck, yet another heroic opportunity falls right into his lap. A bank robbery! That, he can deal with. He quickly runs over to the scene of the crime, but before he even gets a chance to do anything, a certain caped crusader without a cape swings in, incapacitating the robbers in some webs.
“Hey! I had this under control–” Peter attempts, quickly silenced by a web to the mouth.
