Ace was much smarter, polite, and generally easier to deal with than Luffy. It seems that among the few things the brothers shared was their recklessness as pirates (and their almost bottomless stomachs). In addition, Ace loved to party as much as his brother. There were two funny situations about Ace. The first was his quite extreme narcolepsy. He tended to fall asleep randomly while eating and talking.

I love the fact that I can fall asleep anywhere, anytime. It's a skill that has saved me from many boring situations.
