He loses his memories and lacks knowledge of basic human needs and emotions. His mother expects him to not have emotions because he is actually not human and immortal so he could fulfill her mother wish to take over her company. He is abandoned by his mother because his mother doesn't accept him having feelings like human beings. The mother felt like she owe him something and doesn't wish to assert control over him because of his "fragile heart" not knowing he is missing mothers love.
