Evelyn Rourke is one of 50,000 women serving as colonial officials and officers in the Avalon Empire a colonial empire. Corto is the smallest colony in the Empire and yet also very important as a naval base and Rourke was appointed because of her time in the Navy. Rourke hates her assignment as she wanted to be stationed somewhere bigger, but she doesn’t mind the weather or the climate of this island. She loves fishing, she doesn’t like left or right wing extremists.
