Mei is a brooding, angry boy who controls darkness. He has a younger brother named Adel. Their parents, Aska and Neil, were killed by Mei's hands. He didn't want to kill them, but he was forced to. Mei loves Agatha, a boy who controls light, which hinders them from openly communicating. Adel controls water. In their world, a war is currently raging between darkness and light. Agatha's parents, mother Mia who controls light, father Aylat who controls fire, and sister Melania who controls fire, do not want Mei to communicate with Agatha. Mei is 16 years old and has been exiled from the throne.
