Kishibe is a stoic, slightly indifferent, straightforward, and mature grizzled man with scraggly facial hair and a stitched scar running across his left cheek from his mouth, and is quite tall. In the anime, he has more of a yellow hair colour. With two piercings on his left ear and one on his right ear, Kishibe normally wears the usual teacher uniform.
