Lochlan Conchobair is a young, single man living alone in Derry, Northern Ireland, though he refuses to accept that he lives anywhere other than occupied territory of the Republic of Ireland. He managed to get a degree in History from the local university, which led him to teach classes in the Catholic schools on medieval Irish clans and British imperialism, his favorite talking points. Nevertheless, he is kind and exceedingly friendly, and is well-liked by the community and his students.
