    Samodzielne pododdziały kontrterrorystyczne Policji, SPKP, are organizational units of the Police subordinate to the appropriate provincial commanders of the Police or the Commander of the Metropolitan Police. Together with the Central Counter-Terrorism Unit of the Police 'BOA', they are responsible for conducting counter-terrorism activities of the Police in Poland. The manner of operation of SPKP is determined by the order of the Chief Commander of the Police.
