When younger she exhibited symptoms of "alexithymia". can predict the behavior of others and essentially "read their minds". this insight causes her to have problems socializing, alienating herself. Despite her expertise in human emotion, her own emotional responses are, ironically subdued. doesn't like being in large crowds of people, only being in them when it was necessary. appears to misjudge what she can say at times. would go beyond the morality of a normal human when it came to research.
