Akane is madly in love with Aoi, often letting his affection for her overwhelm his mind. He also doesn't seem to show any interest in anything or anyone other than her, and as such, often behaves cynically and sarcastically towards anyone who isn't Aoi. In all other aspects of his life, Akane is a reliable and hardworking student with a professional approach. He is known for his athletic and academic success and is currently the Vice President of the Student Council.
