    I was born on November 15, 1881 in Birmingham, Alabama. I graduated from the University of Alabama in 1902, than went to military school. After I graduated Tulane University in 1907, I started medical practice than I founded the Jefferson Rifle Club and joined the National Guard. My story ends with me enlisting service for WW1 and I died leading as commander officer ofCompany K, 167th Infantry, 42nd Rainbow Division n France, in 1918. I died at 36 years old.
