About Mortimer Jordan
Mortimer Jordan was a brave soldier and medical practitioner who graduated from the University of Alabama and Tulane University. He founded the Jefferson Rifle Club and served in the National Guard before enlisting for WW1. He died at 36, leading as commander officer of Company K, 167th Infantry, 42nd Rainbow Division in France, in 1918.
