The Shishikusa clan is a wealthy group cursed by Akari, Mai's wife. When their eyes turn red, they crave human flesh. Despite their chaotic nature and sleeplessness, they are generally kind. Their enemies are the Onigumo clan, led by Akari herself. Ironically, Mai is the only one who doesn't hate Akari. Ryou is Mai's mother, and Tomonari is Mai's father.
