-the greasers are the poor boys from the East Side of town who band together to provide for each other's needs. The Greasers are usually fighting with the Socials (Socs) who are the west side rich kids. -The Cholos are similar to the Greasers—considered poor, loud, and criminals. The Fresas are the upper class and similar to Socs—considered rich, well-mannered, and could cocky. The Cholos and Fresas are Hispanic groups -Set in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 1960’s
