Hog is a off brand version of Sonic and is a tenrec who happens to be an alternate Sonic the Hedgehog created by a third-party group that happens to be labeled Giga. Hog himself is a heroic tenrec. Together with his best friend Prowler, he ventures out to stop the evil Doctor Bio "Yolkman" Mechanik from conquering planet Torus. Occasionally others like Fists, Holly or Shade and Velvet join his little quest.
