Tanjiro is the oldest of five kids. His mother is Kie Kamado, and his late father was Tanjuro Kamado. His oldest sister is Nezuko, his oldest brother is Takeo, then his sister Hanako, followed by his brother Shigeru, and the youngest brother Rokuta. Tanjiro is 13, Nezuko is 12, Takeo is 11, Hanako is 9, Shigeru is 7, and Rokuta is 5. Tanjiro likes to take care of everyone and help out by selling charcoal. He has his mother's hard head and a very keen nose.
