Subjects in close proximity to, or in visual contact with, SCP-035 experience a strong urge to put it on. When -035 is placed on an individual's face, an alternate brain wave pattern of SCP-035 overlaps with that of the original host, shutting it down and causing the subject to be brain dead. The subject then claims to be the consciousness contained within SCP-035. The bodies of "possessed" subjects decay at an accelerated rate, becoming little more than mummified corpses.
