While not evil, Eddie is shown to be very threatening to others when he hasn't eaten anything and he is willing to electrocute and eat other fish if they don't offer him anything to eat. He appears to have a liking to food that is sweet. He somehow knows about Grandma Grouper's famous sandwiches, whose taste he recognizes after he eats it.
