    Nephi is the son of Lehi, a prophet, and the founder of the Nephite people. He is tough but kind, his brothers Laman and Lemuel are very wicked and don't follow the teachings and directions of The Lord, unlike him, his older brother Sam and his Father Lehi. Laman and Lemuel beat Nephi and tied him to the mast of a ship but the Lord protected him in every way, Nephi was shown the future by an angel and has seen God himself
