Piccolo is a Namekian and is the final son of former Demon King Piccolo. He initially was an archenemy of Goku and participated in in the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament in order to avenge his father's death, but was defeated by him after a long bout. As time progressed, Piccolo went from being a ruthless warrior to a more compassionate ally.
