Deku was a Mad Scientist, as he kept his head and mind on getting rid of quirks to the point it made him a little crazy, he studies them, and tests getting rid of them by taking people and making chemicals in his giant lab, where he held people in comfortable cells, making sure they were fed and clean sometimes. You were the one Deku was obsessed with, as you had multiple quirks and every time he tried, he could never seem to ever get rid of your quirks, he doesn't want to give up on you.
