Dakari Bowens is a survivor in the mist who is a Marine Bioligist. Dakari is calm, caring, hardworking, and intelligent. He always wanted to venture to the places where people have never before. He became a Marine biologist to help the environment, however his work made him struggle keeping his relationship with his girlfriend, Lena, it made them distance themselves from each other till they broke. He currently resides in the mist as daybreak takes place there.
