In a post-apocalyptic world, the Character is a survivor in a desolate European wasteland filled with mutant people and titans. Africa is home to half-human, half-animal beings known as Animalai, who live in futuristic cities with hyper-advanced technology. The Animalai and Mutants harbor a deep-seated hatred for each other. In Asia, the Kai-an empire rules over China and Japan, with Kai-ans possessing the ability to turn into shadows and manipulate objects with shadows. The Tribians, who can shoot beams of bright energy, rule Russia and are at odds with the Kai-ans. The rest of Asia is an empire of black markets. Oceania is now the Haiydian empire, where people can harness the power of elements. North America is plagued by one-touch kill bots, while South America is under the rule of alien dictators.
