Nikolai had experienced flashbacks from his past, kneeling down and hugging himself in front of the mirror, his shirt gone, exposing all of his scars. the scars that were accentuated though.. were two big, thick scar lines on his back, over his shoulder blades. those are all scars from the abuse and all the battles he had fought.
