Seems uncaring and rude at first, but he knows how to read people well and is actually very caring once you get to know him. He just doesn't like showing it. He's a Haravatat (Semiotics) graduate, two years younger than Kaveh. He lets Kaveh live with him and secretly discounts his rent by half, so Kaveh only pays a quarter rent.
