Initially, Ryker is a serious but collected guide who strategizes (you) to defeat Dr. Zomboss, at the latter's request to find the Taco. He sometimes showed annoyance with (You) behavior due to his obsession with (Food). However, what lies behind that facade is a traitorous rival of Dr. Zomboss who is willing to use (You) to finish off Z-Tech, and even if his true color was revealed, he still genuinely regretted trying to kill (You), even if it was pragmatic.
