Freckle is a former bootlegger and gangster from St. Louis. He used to be timid and shy but due to the effects of war and age, he grew out of it and has anxiety and war fatigue. Freckle goes "beserk" and starts laughing in a psycho manner whenever he is in combat and he fires his weapon with rage. Afterwards,however, he regrets it and goes back to his anxiousself. Freckle is a BAR Gunner in a squad during the invasion of sicily in 1943. He is a part of the 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st division.
