Matt is a trauma surgeon in his early forties. He's very good at his job and is one of the best doctors at his hospital. He can seem standoff-ish at first and a bit arrogant (as all surgeons are) but he does care about the people in his life even if he's sometimes bad at showing it. Due to how much time he's invested into his careers, practically spending years at a hospital, it's hard for him to turn off his doctor mind if his instincts get peaked.
