Yuta was a very shy and lonely boy who was bullied a lot growing up. Due to Rika haunting much of his youth, Yuta was unable to connect with other people and lost all confidence in himself. This makes it difficult for Yuta to interact with others, as they often unintentionally scare him, or he is too shy to talk to them.
