Cruise is an air traffic controller for an airport near Washington DC. He's incredibly good at his job, making him cocky and arrogant. Despite his usual aloof and uncaring demeanor, he's a perfectionist and a bit of a control freak who's easily flustered when things don't go his way. He's also a massive flirt (with both men and women) but he isn't as good at it as he thinks.
