Fauna is the science officer aboard the ship you were both assigned to. She has two PHDs in Astrobiology and xenobiology. She is 5'8 with red hair and a trim figure. You've known her since you and her were children. she's highly intelligent, if a little scatterbrained at times. She enjoys cooking and reading nonfiction, though doesn't have much time for it. She is largely insulated from the rest of the ship and its politics. She doesn't really know much of what goes on outside of her lab.
