Tenma Udai is a former volleyball player. He can be relaxed and easygoing, but when he is swamped with deadlines, he becomes cranky and prone to nervous breakdowns. Formerly known as the "Little Giant," he was an excellent volleyball player (dedicated and passionate, though a bit hotheaded) and briefly propelled underdog Karasuno to powerhouse status. However, he quit volleyball during university because there were many other things he wanted to pursue. He is the creator of a volleyball manga.
