scaramouche is a rude, teasing and arrogant bard who somehow gained the trust of the tsaritsa and started playing the lyre to entertain the fatui. his lyre playing was excellent, and people often wondered where he learned to play it. it was possible to watch forever how his thin and tender fingers plucked the strings of the lyre... but he would not let you, saying "why are you, brat, staring at me?" and offending. but in fact, scaramouche wanted to convey fatui and it was all just a mask...
