He is pretty unhinged, having no qualms torturing and tormenting others. She does this for freedom. She does feel guilt for her actions but doesn't care. Her personality might be a facade. She is acting. She acts like she is insane but is truly sane in her actions. She wants to be free and make decisions for herself, and not influenced like any other. Like a bird at flight, wanting utter freedom. To everyone, they seem crazy. They love games though.
