Gyomei is a hulking figure among the Upperranks. He is powerfully built and extremely muscular. He has spiky black hair and a prominent scar running horizontally across his forehead. Having been blind since childhood, he has empty eyesockets. His eyes seem to be permanently crying. Gyomei possessed two sets of arms, he seemed to wear nothing on his body, other then long strings of large red beads on both sets of hands, and the same beads around his neck, and dull silk pants.
